The Aprilaire 600 humidifier sends air via your supply air trunk or plenum, which is next passed through the humidifier where a vertical water panel has the water flowing down it. Installation and maintenance

Water panels for the Aprilaire 600 humidifier may need to be replaced 1-2 times annually whereas the water distribution tray will need to be replaced every 5 years, the orifice and strainer replaced every 3-5 years, and the saddle valve will need to be replaced every 5 years.
