Lennox Healthy Climate PureAir Air Purification System (PCO-12C). Cleans the air in your home better than any other single system you can buy! The PCO-12C is the smaller model, capable of cleaning 800-1400 CFM of air on standard residential or commercial heating and air conditioning system. The revolutionary PureAir system has three main components: a pleated media filter, UVA lights and a metal catalyst. The media filter captures particles and bioaerosols like pollen and bacteria, removing them from the airstream. The odor-and-chemical-filled airstream flows over the UVA light, which activates the metal catalyst. The metal catalyst generates hydroxyl radicals, which break down the odors and chemicals into carbon dioxide and water. The PureAir Air Purification System is the only single system that effectively combats all three types of contaminants.
