This 1099 LHS Legacy model comes with a humidistat and drain to wash minerals and solid residue down and out of the system. The 1099 LHS can be easily installed on either the warm air supply or return duct system.

With the GeneralAire 1099 LHS humidifier a portion of the heated air from the furnace passes through a water-soaked pad where it absorbs additional moisture and then returns for distribution throughout your home. The water is metered into the KineticFloÆ Trough and dispersed uniformly across the pad. Unevaporated water drains from the bottom of the unit to eliminate mineral build-up.
