The Aprilaire 1413 replaces the inner housing of your existing Aprilaire / Space-Gard filter cabinet and eliminates the need for pleat spacers! The Aprilaire 1413 is a Quick and Easy upgrade to improve the efficiency of your existing filter system.
This kit includes the snap-together frame as well as your first MERV 13 pop-up filter!

When it came time to replace the filters in my furnance I became frustrated by the perceived complexity and manual work required to replace the factory filter which required pleat spacers.

I did some research on the Internet and came across the Aprilaire 1413 upgrade kit which would make future filter replacements much easier plus providing a higher MERV rating of 13 over the base factory filter. I also did some pricing research and found the best price on DiscountFurnaceFilter.com.

I found this product to be very easily installed and it saved me to be able to replace this myself versus having a furnace repair technician perform the installation. And in the future replacing filters will be very quick and painless.
