We moved to our home in June, 2008. Having had an Aprilaire in my previous home I knew it was known for quality. The Aprilaire 600A was chosen for the size of our house (~2200 sq ft, 2 story) and we have not been disappointed. Persistent coughing and dry skin are a thing of the past now. The Aprilaire 600A came with an in homse temp and humidity guage for monitoring. My previous Aprilaire was manually controlled. The automatic sensor that came with the 600A was a small luxury worth the nominal extra cost. The unit came with a cutting template and I mounted mine on the supply plenum using hot water for maximum evaporative capacity. Discount Furnace Filter offers on line and phone support. Made a noticeable improvement in the humdity levels in the home and was fairly easy to install, other than the heat pump compressor failing right before installation.
